Zach Mesel
President
Technology is in Zach’s blood. Zach spent much of his youth in his father’s cardiac research labs, either as a test subject for his father’s research, or playing games with his older brother on mainframe computers.
Zach earned his BS in Management Information Systems in 1988 from the University of Arizona, and then worked for IBM in Boulder, Colorado, and Palo Alto, California until 1995. After taking a sabbatical in Spain to get his bilingual certification in Spanish, he worked for a technical translation company in Seville, then returned to California in 1998 just in time for the tech collapse. He and his wife Misty moved to Santa Rosa in 2000 and started Wooden Spoon in 2002. They live in Santa Rosa with their cat.
Christian Nancy
Chief Technical Officer
Christian is a systems architect with 20 years of experience building and maintaining corporate IT infrastructure. He moved to the US from France in 1998 to be with Victoria, the love of his life. After working for several years in San Francisco at a national cable TV network, he acquired GO Networks in 2004, so he could be closer to home and watch his daughter Alexia grow up. In 2016, as his business reached a critical growth juncture, he decided to partner with Zach on growing a new IT business to the next level.
In addition to holding Microsoft certifications, he has extensive knowledge of Windows servers and secured network environments, automation, programming and systems policy management. When he is not at his desk writing code or tinkering with new technologies, you may find him daydreaming about his next big model train layout, which he will no doubt complete someday (ah!). He and his family enjoy spending part of their summers in France to recharge their stock of “Je ne sais quoi”.
